Jean, dear, adorable Jean.. :)
Went out with Jean yest evening after work (n it was really quite a lot of work... haha...), we actually cleared away a bottleneck of BIWS accumulated since 25/05/2007 till yest.... LOL! Peck Har would have slaughtered us if she found out... hee...
I managed to close the can of worms opened on monday - cx came to open corporate ac, CRM was down so I can't issue CHQ book, then he need to use chq book urgently cos on tuesday he need to pay his customer in the morning, plus his is a relatively big amt chq so muz send for clearing first. End up i opened the corp ac + corp FD ac at 3pm via 5250, then tried an urgent chq book req via CRM - unfortunately due to system constrain, the 5250 ac wasn't uploaded to CRM... Called CSC but they say muz raise SR then can process the chq req, they won't accept faxes or any other means.. SAD!!! So ok, i waited till 6pm+++, CRM was finally up, raised SR, called cx, received inst to send chq to thomson br, called CSC, liased with them to send chq to thomson br first thing in the morning, called thomson br, informed them cx will collect chq at thomson, emailed respective dept on the story. And so i thought, CASE CLOSED!!! So on tues, cx didn't rec'd chq in the mornin, CSC processed, sent out chq to BT PANJANG, arriving only in the afternoon, i nearly died of shock and was totally appalled, called cx, apologised, sent him the chq personally in the evening together with dear Jean who accompanied me on the journey. I really appreciate that company yest.
Aft which we went to orchard to redeem Isetan n Taka vouchers, she's the first person i know that actually redeem vouchers and practise saving habits - proactively investing n have a decent money sense. :) She's saving up the vouchers for a coach bag, abt $400++ i guess. Still cheap compared to ah pat's spending habits - burberry $800+++, LV, Gucci and what nots.. haha... Even my sis is also acting v tai tai le.. spend n spend. LOL. Girls ba.. its normal de. juz that sometimes the price tag is pretty shocking tat's all. :) Anyway i saw her mom at taka, she certainly DOES look v modern, Jean told me tat she's 50+ but honestly she looks only 40+, well maybe late 40s, but certainly not 50+!
We went over to anchorpoint for dinner, I forgot to wd cash so Jean had to pay 1st, retn her tomolo lo.. hee.. the Jet Li look a like wasn't there today, I guess its his day off. hee.. I had vongole, Jean had the cream sauce pasta... Didn't remember the name tho.. lol.. After which we went to the Cheese Prata shop near NUS for teh cino. :) my fave drink!!!! hee... She's a great company, absolutely sweet n understanding de. lol...
We swapped a few stories, how MF n Candy got together, MH's involvement, pursuit of Jac and finally his marriage. I also shared on biao jie's love story too.. hee.. She shared with me tat she used to carry 2 jobs a day, worked in soooo many different companies and also a bit of her relationship with her ex. :) I learned that she don't eat prawns that aren't really cleaned properly (the intestine thingy on the back of the prawn..), tomato sauce pasta is a nono, @ food republic she only likes the beef kway teow, she wears "M", but prefers bigger dresses - i guess cos they're more comfy. :)
