haha! today's my birthday! and it was just absolutely fantastic! And i thank the Lord for an answered prayer too - i asked for the Lord to bring one of my frens to salvation to complete my birthday, initially was meng hoong, then meng fei, but both turned down my invitation for them to come to church.. and then just 10 mins ago, i met Patrick on the bus.. and he told me that yesterday was his spiritual birthday!!!! haha! When one sinner repents, the whole of heaven rejoices, and i really wanna thank Patrick for sharing this good news.. i can hear my inner most being rejoicing and bringing the prayer to rememberence as i thank the Lord Jesus Christ.. Hallelujah!
I went to church early today, kinda woke up at 5.45am, then lay in bed till 6.30am before i dragged myself up n had a shower before reaching church at 8am, thinking that today i'm supposed to help out for the mass recruitment for ministry of helps, which was actually scheduled next week.. lolz.. i'm just sooo tired lor.. had an extremely tough n tiring week, so yeah, i really need a break.
the auditorium was fully packed during 1st service, so i decided to go for 2nd service instead... birthday ma... wan to sit inside the auditorium.. hee.. pastor prince just came back from his holiday in tokyo disneyland and celebrated little jessica's birthday there (her birthday was 6 days before mine.. haha!) and it was just wonderful to see him back again to teach and share the word..
today's sermon was on how to have life and life more abundantly. something that spoke to me was to seek ye first the kingdom of God (righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Ghost) and all these things (the things that we're looking for) will be added unto you. And the question that was posted to us: Do i believe that i'm righteous by faith in Christ Jesus? Things of the world, desires and wants aside, i'll choose to enjoy the presence of God and believe that i'm the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. :)
Benny blessed me with the sms today - "Hi bro.. HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY!! (incidentally, i'm 25.. but its ok la, at least he remembers.. :) May all your wishes come true and wishing u success always!!" thanks benny, appreciate the effort! :)
I celebrated my birthday with some of the folks from suntec city - ah rei, the 2 kids, and the other fella whom i dunno his name.. haha.. kim and phillip were there at star factory to wish me happy birthday too.. so it was really nice.. rei got me a black forest cake to celebrate the birthday and we had it at the fountain terrance at B1.. simple birthday, simple blessings and i enjoyed it. :)
And God wrapped up the day by giving me that wonderful birthday present that not even bill gates can buy - my fren's salvation.. So i really wanna say.. Thank You Jesus! Thank You.. for Your goodness and grace in my life.. :)
