Block leave...
Hmm.... so long never update blog liao.. I'm like so dam lost lor... Where to start? zzz.. I was posted to bukit panjang br for almost 3 weeks now.. I'd say its a hell lot better than Jurong Town Br.. haha... there's direct bus, knock off @ 6pm (latest), and heck, its located in a shopping centre! hahaha!
Last thurs nite i took a coach to alor setar.. damm freakin 12hrs journey sia.. zzzz.. by the time we reach the destination, my legs are stiff, numb, and wobbly... Went there to attend Poh Giak's wedding.. hee.. It was soooooo traditional!! :) There's the hair combing ceremony, tea ceremony, ang pow giving ceremony, offer incense to the "tian gong" and also to the ancestral tablet.. wa!!! Really an eye opener for moi... hee.. Giak's v pretty, she wore 3 diff gowns - fri night was deep red, then sat morn was the traditional classic white, then the dinner on sat night was pretty pink. :) Tink she's really pretty tt day, kiee..
I kinda had a tour round the countryside over the weekends, mainly following ah Giak's sec sch buddies.. hee.. went from Alor Setar to S.P. (her hubby's house) then to S.P. makan "xiang tofu", "oyster omelette", "penang laksa", "wu xiang" and some dishes tt i dun even know the names.. Gee..
One ting i noted tho... The wedding album photos doesn't really look like the teller i know from JT br... Maybe its the make up n everything.. (or maybe i didn't really see ah jie put on make up in singapore before.. lol...)
My sis SMS me tt M'sia was having a hell lot of haze cos some fuggin indonesian prick ignited a forest and the wind carried everything over to M'sia.. Lucky for me, Jesus took care of it by sending quite a thunderstorm on Fri night aft dinner.. haha... Who cares if the whole world explodes? MY Jesus will keep ME safe. :)
Sunday we celebrated Ah Rei's bday @ Marina South. I was so damm tired tt day (cos i juz got back from Alor Setar in the wee hrs of the morn... zzz..) I had a few sweet tasting tigers.. zzz.. no thanks to SAF.. a ton of prawns.. (those were REALLY nice) and well, assorted meat n stuff... the taste all blended together after a while of cooking.. zz..
